3rd July

Start of my HK trip. It was such a coincidence.5 months ago we met on TR 802.Now, we were on the same flight 3K 696 to HK. Fate must have brought us together. It was indeed amazing since we were perfect stranger.Oh well...

I kicked off my shopping spree @Mongkok - - My all time fave ladies market - - It was not amazing that i have bagged a number of victories on the first day itself. A word to describe - -AWESOME !!!!

4th July

Woke up late & had my brunch on the ferry on our way to Mui Wo.Finally get to taste Maxim's pastry.Well, the verdict was it served only good looking but horrible & inedible cakes.On our way to the ferry terminal, there were so many obstacles i have to overcome.I could not continue but to start shopping at the shops in the MTR station.Before long, im caught with a bag full of victories.Haha..Thats Hk. Its all about SHOPPING.

Our first stop was Tai O fishing village. Its so called the Venice of Asia. Anyway, its a far cry from that.However, the sun & fresh air over there is able to make up for it.The boat ride was alright although Aunty Linda puked after it came to a halt. =P Next, we proceeded to the Giant Buddha.It was my 2nd time up there.This time round im able to catch a true glimpse of the statues.It was all so misty during my first time there last year.Yes !!! i ended my day shopping again. Wohahaha ~~~

5th July

It was a tight & packed day.I really maximised the use of my tourist explorer pass since it was the last day for using it.It was awe-inspiring that i managed to cover all the colour tracks of the Mtr Line in a day.We were exploring one end of the island to another.First stop was stanley market.I have the intention of tanning @ the famous stanley beach but the weather just refused to corporate by drizzling every now & then.Had brunch @Murray house - - A former British Army quarter.Next we took the Yau Ma Tei line to Kowloon Tong.Spent half a day shopping at Festival Walk.Though we were pressed for time, we went all the way to Tung Chung to shop at the factory outlets of various brand. Surprisingly, i did not get anything from here.My last stop for the day was @Tsim Sha Tsui.It was a fun filled day of shopping yet again. Hahaha..

6th July

Intented to head down to Ocean's Park but i gave it a miss for a very simple reason. - - I was lazy to get out of my bed. =P Hence, we changed our plan to shop at Sha Tin. Went to yum cha at the well acclaimed Maxim restaurant.The food was HEAVENLY & AWESOME.Its not everyday i get to eat Guan Tang Jiao. I fell in love with it after my first mouthful. Hahaha.. Its a sinful meal i must say =P I vowed to control my spending after splurging for the first 3 days.Oh well, i spent a bomb again.Anyway, its money well spent since im loving all of them.Hahaha.. I suggested going to IKEA so that chances of me buying would be minimized.As a shopaholic has it, i bought a box set from there. HAHAHAHA....

7th July

Went to Causeway Bay to do last minute shopping after checking out.This time round law of diminishing marginal returns has set in.Wohoho.. At this point in time, shopping does not interest me anymore.I really shop till i dropped.Hahaha..Thus, we headed down to airport & i managed to steal some winks there.

I love my HK TRIP so much this time round.It was well planned & we did not waste any moments.Aunty was suggesting to me the other day that we should go again next july in conjunction with their great sales.Of coz i would not mind it. Bye HK my love for now.
